Andy and Lauren are the kind of couple that every photographer wants to work for. They're sweet, laid-back ... and ridiculously happy. We all gathered on March 12th at the beautiful All Saints' Chapel in downtown Raleigh, NC. The sun was up and the temperature was rising with it. I love a good spring day, and this was as good as it gets.
Plus, Andy has, what can only be described as a passion for robots and the designer's skill to bring those robots to life. You'll notice the robot theme throughout their wedding - programs, cake toppers, cuff links and everything! Yep, Andy made them all! The happy couple also were slick enough to create their very own photo booth, providing favors of the guests through a backdrop, dress-up mustaches and hats and a computer program that spit out a cute little Polaroid of pictures of the silly guests. I loved it and snagged some great pictures of guests letting loose for the camera.
Of course, the big theme of this day was just Andy and Lauren. Really, it was as if they were just exploding with joy all afternoon. When I had them together, I never once told them to smile, I couldn't stop them. What a day and what a wedding!
